Allegro

Spring 2025.

After overhearing her mother's private phone call, teenage dancer Quinn is confronted with the reality of their tumultuous relationship. Feeling isolated from her own family, Quinn seeks comfort from friends at her dance studio.

I both wrote and directed “Allegro” as my senior thesis in 2024 and 2025. Filmed in my childhood dance studio and home, this project explores my own idea of found family. Allegro premiered at The Roxie Theater in San Francisco in May 2025.
